David Cantwell Photography is a commercial and advertising photography studio with over 20 years of experience. We are a family run business and have been providing an Advertising and Commercial Photography since 1998
We are located just off the M50 in Finglas Dublin Ireland and are conveniently located to both Dublin City Centre (6km) and Dublin Airport (10km). We have clients throughout Ireland, the UK and overseas
Our 1,500 sq ft commercial photography studio facilitates larger photoshoots and our open plan kitchen is situated next to the shooting area and has been designed to accommodate food styling as well as providing a backdrop for Food Photography
David Cantwell

David is a Fellow of both the Master Photographers Association (FMPA) and the Irish Professional Photographers Association (FIPPA) and is a Qualified European Photographer (QEP).
He started his photographic career over 20 years ago as a portrait photographer in his home town of Navan. He then moved to Dublin and trained as a commercial photographer.
In 1998 he opened his own Commercial and Advertising photography studio and has been creating images for the top companies and firms both home and abroad ever since.
Photography isn't just a career for David, its also his passion and when he's not shooting for our commercial clients you'll still find him with camera in hand, taking portraits. His love of portrait photography and admiration of great photographers around the world developed into a book; Snap Dragons.
Naomi Dunleavy
Studio Manager
Naomi is our Creative Director, Studio Manager, and your first point of contact. From preparing your initial quote to finalising the pre-production details, she ensures the logistical side of your campaign is completely taken care of.
Working exclusively with our hotel clients, Naomi collaborates with your marketing team well in advance to organise visual concepts and digital styling. She also builds a detailed itinerary to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Because our studio integrates high-end synthography, we significantly reduce the need for physical props on set. Naomi builds this modern approach directly into your production plan, maximising your budget and streamlining logistics, all while delivering the premium quality our studio is known for.
